Welcome to The Government of I.T.I. Chittoor

It is one of the biggest Institutes in Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh, established in the year 1962. It is situated adjacent to Industrial Estate, Puttur Road, in Chittoor. At present the seating capacity is enhanced from 473 in all trades. The details of the trades and units are given below.

All the trades and units are permanently affiliated to National Council of Vocational Training of Director General of Employment and Training , New Delhi, of the Ministry of Labour Employment and Training of Government of India. It has about 30 acres of land with good infrastructure consists of four big workshops, administrative buildings, class rooms, tools and equipment. There is experienced faculty engaged in imparting the Craftsman training Scheme. The syllabus and examination pattern is governed by the DGE&T. This institute has placement cell and all the passed out trainees are being shown the employment. This Institute is registered as Vocational Training Provider under the Skill Development Initiation Scheme of Director General of Employment & Training New Delhi and Imparting Modular Employable skills to school dropouts. This Institute also registered as a Training Centre to impart Re-orientation Training Programme, sponsored by Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd.
